MRO EUROPE - LONDON CAME CALLING
Published Wednesday, 22nd October 2025In October the industry descended on the Excel, London for a packed few days at MRO Europe 2025 – and what a rewarding show it was for Caerdav and our team, shaking hands on deals with some of the biggest names in the industry.
Caerdav CEO, Chris Coleman, was joined by Commercial Director, Phil Swanson over the two days – alongside Chairman Bruce Dickinson, who stopped by on Wednesday – to catch up with customers old and new.
The outcome? Some fantastic business that showcases our ever-expanding presence in the global MRO market – most notably a new materials rebate program with Boeing itself.
We also announced a new consignment agreement with global MRO supplier, Aerospheres, in a move that will allow us to streamline the acquisition and supply of important maintenance stock, which will in turn ensure we continue to deliver unrivalled support to our customers.
In a similar vein, we extended the consignment agreement with PDQ Airspares that was originally announced at last year’s MRO Europe in Barcelona. The deal – which sees PDQ placing inventory into our St. Athan facility to allow us to consume directly from our own stock – has been hugely successful, so we were delighted to continue the partnership.
Finally, we have also cemented our long-standing relationship with software provider ELMS, continuing our use of the ELMS Solution to manage our employee training and competency. As we implement our ongoing business growth strategy, staff numbers are increasing and having an intuitive, digital platform that allows us to monitor our team’s training, certification and competency is vitally important.
Chris said of the show: “The business we’ve completed at MRO Europe this year has perfectly demonstrated our position in the market, showcasing our growing presence and expanding reputation. Our hangars are full for the winter season and we’re putting deals in place that will hopefully see our bays back-to-back over next summer as well.”
Bruce added: “I’m immensely proud of the work everyone in the business is doing to help put Caerdav well and truly on the map. We’ve got some more big news to discuss in the coming months, which will further underline this position, watch this space!”
In addition to the announcements from the show, you may have also seen some of our additional business wins over the past few months, including General Maintenance Agreements with both Aercap and Avolon – a real marker for our ambition to become a trusted partner to the leasing sector.
Finally, thanks to everyone who joined us for our drinks reception on Wednesday afternoon, serving Trooper beer and wine thanks to Bruce. It was fantastic to welcome both new and existing clients to the stand to discuss the MRO landscape and of course Bruce’s latest exploits on tour with Iron Maiden!
Of course, we would also like to thank our hosts Trade & Invest Wales, who invited us to once again join a number of other local businesses on the Aerospace Wales Pavilion, providing us with the perfect platform to show exactly what South Wales has to offer in the world of aviation maintenance.
