TRADE AIR AIRBUS A320 RETURNS TO SERVICE AFTER COMPREHENSIVE CHECK FROM CAERDAV

Caerdav has completed its work with Croatian charter airline, Trade Air, performing a comprehensive return to service check on an Airbus A320-216, making it ready for operation in the company’s growing fleet.

Initially established as a cargo airline in Zagreb in 1994, the company has expanded to include ACMI flights, ad-hoc and passenger chain charters, alongside transportation of dangerous goods.

Operating flights within Croatia and to a network of destinations throughout Europe – as well as providing flights for more than 60 airlines around the world – Trade Air’s fleet currently consists of four 180-seat Airbus A320s and one 144-seat Airbus A319 – soon to be joined by this 174-seat aircraft.

Having previously flown for Alitalia and ITA Airways, Trade Air’s latest A320 was actually in storage at St. Athan. Once selected to return to service, Caerdav’s skilled engineering team carried out a range of work, including an engine change, structural assessments and all associated checks to ensure full airworthiness moving forwards.

To facilitate the requirements of its latest aircraft, Trade Air also instructed Caerdav to deliver engine swaps and replacements from two of its other aircraft. All work was carried out on time, on budget, and meeting all customer requirements.
