From our St. Athan base in Wales, the team at Caerdav has watched on as the world has been rocked by this unprecedented global crisis. It has affected us, just as it has affected the rest of the industry, but we have worked hard to ensure that we are ready and able to assist our colleagues across the sector.

With more and more commercial – and private – aircraft being confined to the tarmac, the need for available space to park them, and for skilled maintenance crews to keep them airworthy, is increasing day by day.

Already, according to our partners at Cirium, around 64% of the 26,000 passenger aircraft currently in operation across the globe are grounded, and the decision on where to temporarily store your aircraft is vitally important.

Having access to a EASA, FAA & TCCA Part-145 Full Base MRO facility is, of course, a huge advantage – meaning airlines or lessors can benefit from full maintenance support for any aircraft parked on site, putting them at the front of the queue when it comes to organising return to service maintenance and any further modifications or maintenance to clear the aircraft for the flying season.

At Caerdav, we are happy to offer the industry both space to park their aircraft and a skilled team on site to maintain them. We want to work closely with airlines and lessors and offer a cost-effective parking solution that can also take advantage of our modern Part-145 MRO facility.

We currently have space for an additional 20 aircraft and would be happy to speak to customers, old and new looking for secure, temporary storage.
